Watercolor Gicle'e. This charming pocket wren has made it's nest in a rather inconvenient spot. Or so the cowboy will think. These tiny birds do indeed make their nests in pockets as Alice Tetamore has so beautifully captured. It is ready to frame in a 2- 1/2x16 inch matte.
WHAT IS A GICLE'E? Gicle'e (pronounced jhee-clay) reproductions were originally developed in 1989 as a digital method of fine art printing. The word means "to spray ink" in French. Through the use of quality ink pigments, qicle'e reproductions have been tested to last over 100 years. Gicle'e prints are now found in the finest galleries around the world. Reputable museums including the Louvre, New York's Metropolitan Museum and the Guggenhiem are known to display gicle'e reproductions as part of their collections.
